Who is Covered

We provide our Privacy Policy on our web site and to each customer that applies for a mortgage or uses our title services. Customers that initiate a mortgage application by phone will receive a copy of this Privacy Policy when the application is mailed to the customer for signature. Customers that utilize our closing services without applying for a mortgage will receive a copy of this policy with the closing package.

Information Collected

In the normal course of business and to provide the necessary services to our customers, we may obtain nonpublic personal information directly from the customer, from customer-related transactions, or from third parties such as our credit reporting service, title insurance agents, loan processors, lenders, appraisers, surveyors or other similar entities.

Access to Information

Access to all nonpublic personal information is limited to those employees who have a need to know in order to perform their jobs. These employees include, but are not limited to, those in departments such as processing, closing, legal, underwriting, accounting and technology support.

Information Sharing

In the normal course of business, Equilliance may share customer information with affiliated companies, vendors and services providers as required to provide services or products such as lending, mortgage brokerage or real estate closing services. Equilliance may share nonpublic personal information as permitted by law with entities with whom Equilliance has a joint marketing agreement. Entities with whom Equilliance has a joint marketing agreement must agree to protect the privacy of our customer’s nonpublic personal information by utilizing similar precautions and security measures that Equilliance uses to protect this information and to use the information for lawful purposes. Equilliance may share information as required by law in response to a subpoena, to a government regulatory agency or to prevent fraud. Equilliance may share your non-public customer information with non-affiliated third parties so that they may contact you regarding their services or products.
